Sneak Peek: Pop Artist Jared Minnix & A Look At His New Single ‘Hydroplane’

Jared Minnix would like you to listen to his latest single, “Hydroplane.”

With a structural pop format and R&B influences, Minnix’s sound is a unique take on today’s current pop music. Though he thrives in pop music, he is a well-versed guitarist across all genres. The Virginia native moved to Nashville in 2015 in pursuit of his passion. He spent his first few years on national Billboard tours as lead guitarist for rising country artists.

Working amongst Grammy winning producers and top-notch songwriters, Minnix is extremely proud of the music he has released. With recent collaboration with Lyric House Publishing (Disney, Fox, ESPN) you can hear Minnix’s music on shows such as MTV’s Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2.

About The Release: With the starting of a car and distant thunder, you immediately get put into the middle of the storm. “Hydroplane” tells the story of a love that hits something unforeseen and spins into chaos. “It doesn’t always take something so deep to cause you to lose control”, Jared states, speaking about a new relationship.

Closing Words: This is my first self-produced release. So proud of this song. It was hard letting it go and calling it finished when being the producer. But I think that simplicity is key. I hope that this song shows that less is more sometimes.
