Upon listening to “Long After” by Emoiryah, I immediately envision a Disney or Pixar love-story movie. Kings, queens, princes, maidens, mademoiselles- a ballroom scene in a grand castle somewhere in early 20th century France, or Ireland per chance. She not only delivers gentle, trance-like love songs, but also can turn up the techno pop element to her music with songs like “White”. She creates an interesting fusion of genres including Pop/EDM/Celtic/R&B and more.
Emoiryah (ee mor ee ah), also known as Jennifer Lauren, is an uplifting vocalist and songwriter that has endured much success over the years. The soothing sounds of her angelic, astral vocals combined with her soft lyrics are uniquely inspired. Her voice imparts an ethereal and soulful quality, creating a sense of cosmic magic for her listeners. She takes much spiritual inspiration from nature and the universe, and projects it through her songs. As a songwriter, Emoiryah combines her unique lead vocals with striking, multilayered background vocals.
She was born in Germany, but raised in the Los Angeles area in a musically gifted family. She has over 17 years of professional recording experience and doesn’t plan on stopping. Her vocals have been featured in multiple movies and TV scores over the years.
Jennifer Lauren recently changed her artist name to Emoiryah, which means “star of the sea”. This was in large part to her immense love of the ocean and adoration for nature as a whole. Today, she finds herself in the thick of making new songs that she plans to release in coming months, so stay tuned.
