Northern California singer-songwriter Brad Hoshaw showcases his signature soothing voice and intricate songwriting on his brand new single, “You’ve Won.”
Originally hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, this award winning singer-songwriter has regularly garnered both attention and adoration for his gentle, delicate vocal delivery, which is on full display in his haunting new single, “You’ve Won.”
With his lonesome vocals and the soft acoustic guitar strums, Hoshaw effortlessly brings the listener into his world, lulling them into a trance-like state. He is accompanied by gentle yet steady drums and soft piano chords that brilliantly compliment his earnest and vivid songwriting.
Hoshaw boasts an extensive resume. He has won five Omaha Entertainment and Arts awards, supported acts such as Bright Eyes, Gomez, Sleeping at Last, Nathaniel Rateliff, Langhorn Slim, John Moreland, and numerous others. He has composed music for American Public Media’s Marketplace with Kai Rysdall, the Blue Barn Theater production of Grass So Tall, Sky So Black, as well as the Amazon Prime film Black Luck.
He is also the founder of Benson Songwriter Exchange, an Omaha-based songwriting workshop. If those accolades weren’t enough, he has also volunteered at prisons in Nebraska with the goal of guiding and helping inmates express themselves and their experiences through song.
Hoshaw moved from Nebraska to Northern California in 2019, where he has continued to play solo-acoustic shows and promote his new album, which is set for release on October 22.
