That’s the idea for our new web series, Nashville Deck Sessions, where we do live interviews with artists on an East Nashville deck, and have them perform a few songs.
I had the pleasure of opening for Americana singer-songwriter Jason Erie at Radio Café (RIP) last November. Jason’s booming voice can shake foundations and wake the dead, and I was psyched when he agreed to be our first guest for our pilot episode of Nashville Deck Sessions.
Last year he released his debut solo album, The Art of Letting Go, and has been touring and working on new music throughout this year. He’s got some exciting tour and release news in store for 2020, so keep an eye out.
In the meantime, watch Jason answer questions regarding his music, favorite Nashville eats, New Jersey trivia, and much more, before closing out the episode with some songs.
